Some movies don’t just entertain — they resonate so deeply they spark something inside you. For me, that movie was Fantastic Mr. Fox. Its seamless blend of storytelling and visual artistry was one of a kind. Wes Anderson’s meticulous direction and attention to detail created a world that was quirky, profound, and unforgettable. It planted the seed of inspiration that’s grown into my love for filmmaking.

Recently, I had the chance to dip my toes into the film industry through Project Greenlight, MrBeast’s upcoming reality show. Working behind the scenes gave me a taste of what it takes to bring creative visions to life. But that taste only fueled my hunger to do more — not just participate but lead.

I’m embarking on a journey to direct and produce my first feature film, set to shoot and release in 2025. This post is not just about my plans — it’s an ode to the directors who inspire me and a preview of the unique vision I’m bringing to the screen.

1. Learning From the Greats

Every filmmaker’s style is shaped by the greats they admire. For me, it’s a fusion of three visionaries:

  • Wes Anderson: His signature style — the symmetry, color palettes, and dry humor — has taught me the power of creating a visual identity. His films feel like curated art galleries that tell compelling stories.
  • Guy Ritchie: I’ve recently grown to appreciate his kinetic energy, clever dialogue, and bold storytelling. His ability to juggle grit and humor inspires me to explore the interplay of light and dark in my work.
  • Cole Bennett: As the mastermind behind Lyrical Lemonade, his innovative approach to music videos showed me how to bring energy and narrative to short-form content. Since music videos have been a big part of my creative past, this influence feels like home.

Together, these styles have informed my approach: blending meticulous detail with dynamic energy and storytelling flair.

2. Growing Up With the Classics

My love for storytelling started long before I picked up a camera. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of sitting with my Pops, watching the classics — James Bond, Indiana Jones, and other iconic films from that golden era of cinema.

Those movies were more than entertainment; they were a masterclass in adventure, suspense, and character development. They showed me the magic of immersive worlds, unforgettable heroes, and stories that stand the test of time. Watching those films with my father not only deepened my appreciation for cinema but also gave me a foundation for the kind of stories I want to tell: bold, timeless, and impactful.

3. My Vision for Filmmaking

Filmmaking, for me, is about more than entertainment — it’s about connection. My goal is to create meaningful, visually striking films that leave a lasting impression.

With my first feature film, I want to involve the community in every stage of production. This isn’t just my project; it’s ours. From casting local talent to featuring community stories and inviting feedback on the script, I envision a collaborative process that brings people together through art.

This focus on inclusivity aligns with my belief that great art reflects the diversity of the world around us. It’s about giving voices to stories that might otherwise go untold.

4. The Road Ahead

My first feature film is set to begin production in 2025, and I couldn’t be more excited. This project is a culmination of years spent honing my creative voice — starting in music videos and evolving into something more expansive.

I want this film to be a perfect blend of the elements I love: striking visuals, compelling narratives, and a touch of that energetic music video vibe. It’s not just about creating something memorable — it’s about creating something that matters.

Conclusion: A Mindful Approach to Cinema

In everything I do, I strive for mindfulness. Filmmaking is no exception. Every shot, every line of dialogue, every frame must serve the story and the message I want to deliver.

As I step into this new chapter, I invite you to join me on this journey. Whether you’re a fellow creative, a film enthusiast, or someone who believes in the power of storytelling, there’s room for you in this adventure.

Together, we can create art that resonates, inspires, and, most importantly, connects. Here’s to the future — and the films that will shape it.
